Medical Personnel Control System
The medical personnel control system allows doctors and nurses to receive important notifications from all patients registered under this system. These important notifications include the need to refill a patient’s insulin vial, a patient’s request for medical personnel, or a patient’s food request, and the medical personnel must click insulin refilled, patient served, and complete food request, respectively, after fulfilling such needs. In addition, the control system’s user interface allows doctors and nurses to select any patient and view his or her current health data. The patient’s health data can also be viewed by any authorized third party (i.e. the patient’s family member), and includes the patient’s initialization profile, the time of the last meal, blood glucose levels, basal insulin levels, total insulin levels, infused insulin levels, glucagon levels, the amount of insulin left in the intravenous (IV) insulin infusion device, and any urgent notifications. Like the patient control system, we have simulated the medical personnel control system using XCode.
