Insulin Syringes/Needles
Insulin can be administered by patients subcutaneously using syringes or needles. The problem is that insulin injections through syringes and needles can only be taken after meals, are slow-acting, and are not as easy to calibrate amounts to suit the meal’s carbohydrate intake.
